What is appropriate footwear for the yacht?
We ask all guest to wear light coloured, rubber soled shoes as dark leather and high heals mark and damage the boat.

What is the appropriate clothing for sailing?
Sailing is a relaxing and casual past time and your clothes should reflect this by wearing comfortable, casual clothes. Although even if it is a warm day, we advise guest to bring a set of warmer clothes as after sunset it can get quite chilly.

What is the maximum capacity of the yacht?
The yacht is in survey for 20 guests and 2 crew. A comfortable group size is 16 people plus crew. Note: An infant, regardless of age is considered a passenger.

Is the yacht safe for children?
The yacht is fully equipped with safety lines all the way around the yacht and life jackets for all guests are available on request. Note: Children must be under adult supervision at all times.

What toilet facilities are onboard?
The yacht is equipped with two modern, easily accessible marine toilets. An additional charge will apply if you don't follow our marine toilet instructions.

Can we self cater with our own food and drinks?
Yes. We recommend you bring pre prepared food i.e. platter style food, finger food, nibbles and any beverages that you’ll need for the day.

Is there cutlery and glasses on board?
We offer plates, large bowls, bottle openers, a small amount of cuterly and enough glasses for 20 guests. We suggest to guest to bring all other cutlery.

Are there fridges or eskies on board?
The yacht has a fridge on board plus an additional large movable eskie. BYO ice!.

Is it possible to have music on board?
The yacht is fitted with the latest sound system with controls at the helm and below deck. We welcome all music lovers to bring along their favourite CD’s and MP3’s.

Where will the yacht take us and what will we do during the charter?
Unless you have a specific route or must see landmarks the route for the day will not be decided until the day of charter (depending on wind and weather). Our skippers know every inch of the harbour and can take you anywhere you want. If it’s secluded beaches you’re after for a swim off the back of the boat or an action packed sail we will cater to all your needs.

Is it possible to extend the charter if everyone is enjoying themselves?
Yes. Many groups find it hard to leave that perfect spot and head home. If this should be the general consensus of your group simply ask the skipper for an extended couple of hours. If the boat or the crew is not booked for another charter we will happily accommodate you. Payment will need to be made during the charter by credit card or by cash to the skipper.

How do I secure my booking?
A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking, with the balance payable 7 days before the charter date. Payment can be made over the phone with all major credit cards, by cheque or cash. After your deposit is processed we will fax or email all relevent information for the charter, i.e. pick up time, location. You will also receive an injury waiver from wich must be signed by all guest.

Cancellation policy:
Cancellations prior to 14 days before date of commencement of the charter do not attract a cancellation fee and a full refund will be given. Cancellation after 14 days and before 7 days of the charter will attract a cancellation fee of 50% of the charter price. Cancellation after 7 days and before 2 days of the charter will attract a cancellation fee of 80%. In the event of the cancellation within 48 hours of the time the charter is due to commence the cancellation charge will be 100% of the charter, all catering fees and all crew fees.

Weather postponement:

If unfavourable weather conditions are determined by Sydney Sailing and the charter cannot proceed, we will re-schedule your charter to another date. For any other postponements, a 10% fee on the cost of the booking will be charged, together with payment in full for the skipper and catering (unless 14 days’ notice of the postponement is given, in wich case there is no charge for the skipper and catering, but the 10% postponements fee still applies).
