BOXING DAY

Sydney to Hobart

Come see the awesome maxi yacht spinnakers with Sydney Sailing on a 47.3 Beneteau.

An annual tradition on the Sydney Harbour is the start of the Sydney to Hobart Race, where yachts and crew from around the world go head to head. The canon signals the start, then we follow the fleet through the harbour towards Sydney Heads.

As the fleet begins their 650-mile journey down the coast, we seek sanctuary at a sheltered anchorage at Quarantine or Store Beach and take a refreshing swim before we return to Manly Yacht Club. Sydney Sailing departs/returns 10am to 4pm.

$2,300 for a 6 hour charter, BYO food and alcohol, maximum number 15 guests.

NEW YEAR’S EVE

Sydney is famous for its parties and celebrations over the night of New Years Eve. Sydney Sailing are offering you a place aboard their luxury yacht that is anchored in front of the Sydney Harbour Bridge every year to enjoy the annual spectacle.

This amazing night lasts around 8 hours from being picked up at 6pm, cruising to Mosman Point, anchoring up and then socialising until around 12:15pm.

Social chat and music are enjoyed until about 8.30pm, just before the first set of fireworks. There is plenty of opportunity for photos as you will be in an ideal location to witness many different sets of fireworks down the harbour.

AUSTRALIA DAY

Sydney Harbour is the focal point for Australia Day celebrations. Each year the Harbour is the venue for a full programme of events including the annual Ferrython, Tall Ships Race, Flags Afloat Parade, Jazz On The Water.
